Dayron Sharp was born and raised in the small town of Burnsville, Mississippi. At the tender age of eight, he picked up the guitar and began learning how to play and hone his craft. Some of his biggest influences as a child where Hank Williams, Waylon Jennings, and Marty Stuart.
When he was eight he knew right then he want to be an entertainer after watching Marty Stuart perform the song “Tempted. That performance made a huge impact on him. That started his dream as a Country entertainer . By the age of twelve he was in his first Country band.
The thing he enjoys the most is meeting different people and getting to play his songs. He recorded his first album at the age of sixteen then he started hitting the honky tonks where he developed his own unique style of playing and singing. Dayron hit the road out of high school and started playing Country bars. Then at the age of eighteen he recorded his second album and continued to write his own songs. At the age of twenty two he met with a producer/manager by the name Ronnie Thomas.
Dayron and Ronnie started recording his songs in 2009 and finished his new CD in 2010. The new tunes will be pitched to major labels and publishers around Music Row for bigger and better things. He says he gets a lot of ideas for songs from everyday life and things that have happened over the years in his life. Dayron hopes to continue to write many more songs in the future and looks forward to hearing his first song on the radio.
